Christmas in NYC

I just got back from this amazing city, where I got to see the lights lit up on this tree for a second time!  New York is truly magical this time of year.  The hustle and bustle of shoppers, holiday music in the air and festive decorations all over the place really put me in the Christmas spirit.  Fa la la la la...

Hunting season

I'm seriously obsessed with Todd Hunter's oil paintings.  Without looking too childlike, they do have me longing for the days of water coloring, recess and nap times.  Anyone know a talented 5 year old I can commission???

 

Changing colors

This is what Autumn looks like at my parents, where I grew up.  The colors are very warm and inspirational.  I love this time of year and how the changing and falling of leaves is also representative of life transitions.
